OBITUARY

MECHANICVILLE - Virginia A. Yaksta Foley, 65, of Hemstreet Ave., died Saturday August 25th at St. Peter’s Hospice, after struggling with Leukemia.
Born in Troy, June 23, 1953, daughter of the late Bernard and Patricia Richards Yaksta, “Ginny” was a 1971 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
She worked at various part-time jobs for a number of years, and assisted with her mothers
care. Ginny enjoyed the company of family and friends
In addition to her patents, she was predeceased by her brother Bernard “Benjy” Yaksta.
Survivors include her brother Gregory and wife Margaret Yaksta of Middletown, NJ, nieces and nephews Christina, Linda, Greg, Jessica, Jared and grand nieces and nephews Sophia, Sydney, Jameson and Peyton. Also her sister in law Elaine Yaksta of Rotterdam.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8th from 2-4 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Virginia Yaksta Foley.
