SCHAGHTICOKE - Kathryn Luskin Guilianelle, 92 of Center St., died peacefully Monday evening at the Eddy Memorial Ctr, Troy, after an extended illness.
Born in Bemis Heights, Jan 7, 1926, daughter of the late Augustus and Bertha Smodell Luskin, she was the widow of Frank P. Guilianelle, who died May 30, 1990.
Kathryn retired from the Watervliet Arsenal in the payroll dept. Previously she had worked for Union National Bank, Stillwater Knitting Mill and B & M Railroad.
An avid seamstress, she also enjoyed gardening and was a noted tremendous cook.
Kathryn could converse with anyone, and always made her point of view known.
A communicant of the former St. Peter’s Church and Transfiguration Parish, both were sacred places for her life.
Survivors include three sons: Frank (Denise) Gilanelli of N.J., Wesley J. Guilianelle of Texas and Michael J. Guilianelle of Schaghticoke. Six grandchildren: Shawn, Anthony, Christopher, Matthew, Nicholas and Kara, along with 7 great grandkids. Also brothers George R. Wolff of Skaneateles, Albert Wolff of Stillwater, a close nephew David Wolff, along with other nieces, nephews and their families. Kathryn was also predeceased by her sister Jean Wolff and brother Bernard Luskin, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at NOON at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, 895 Hudson Ave, Stillwater. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Hudson Ave Church on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made of Community Hospice.
