Obituary for Kenneth O. Ambuhl

Kenneth O.  Ambuhl
Mechanicville - Kenneth O. Ambuhl, 68, of Waverly St., died suddenly Tuesday Nov. 1st at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after being stricken.
Born in Troy Nov. 13, 1947, son of the late Otto and Katherine Ambuhl, Ken was a 1965 graduate of Troy High.
For a number of years Ken was a supervising computer operator for the NY State Dept of Labor in Albany, until forced into a disability retirement due to health issues.
To keep busy, Ken enjoyed building intricate models of ships and the like. He was an avid golf and pro wrestling fan. His most satisfying trips were to Disneyworld and working on his body tanning.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Adrianne Herrington Ambuhl, his children: Otto (Abby Waldron) Ambuhl and Kayla (Joshua) Gray both of Mechanicville, Chelsea Ambuhl of Latham, Mark (Nicki) Ambuhl of Stephentown, Brian (Sierra) Ambuhl of Castleton and John (Susan) Ambuhl along with grandchildren: Alivia, Jason, Samantha, Chase and Millie. Also a brother Lawrence (Colleen) Ambuhl of Virginia, nieces, nephews and families. Ken was predeceased by his triplet brothers Raymond and Edward.
A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson’s No. Main St. Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.
Calling Hours at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Friday from 5 - 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Assoc.
