Obituary for Angela M. "Babe" Dugan

MECHANICVILLE - Angela M. “Babe” Dugan, died peacefully at Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare, on Monday, May 6, 2024, after a series of recent health issues. Born in Mechanicville on March 6, 1933, daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine Cimino DeCrescente, she was a 1951 graduate of Mechanicville High School.

Babe grew up around the family business, DeCrescente Distribuiting Co, assisting her father, brother, and nephews in its daily operations for over 60 years. She had also worked at the Kesselring Site, West Milton, for 10 years.

Babe loved her family and the time spent with them. She attended her children’s and grandchildren’s academic and athletic events religiously, and loved the gatherings with her large extended family. She was proud of her home and was always attentive to how it looked. In her spare time, Babe enjoyed bocce and bowling with friends in various leagues throughout the years. She was also a longtime and proud member of the Junior Dante Club.

Survivors include her children: JoAnn and husband William Frazier, Jacki Moon and her fiancé Sheldon Dodge, Leo Dugan Jr, grandchildren: Mark(Karen) Pickett, Kyle Pickett, Sean Frazier, Patrick Frazier, Leah DiCioccio, Guido DiCioccio, Ryan Moon, Lisa(Steven) Zehender, Christopher and Brendan Dugan, 7 great grandchildren, and nephew C.J.(Marybeth) DeCrescente, Jr and his family. She was also predeceased by her brothers Carmine and wife Mary DeCrescente Sr and Leo B. DeCrescente, as well as her former husband, Leo F. Dugan Sr.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 9th from 1:30-4PM at All Saints on the Hudson Church(St. Peter’s), 895 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170. A Funeral Mass will begin after the calling hours, promptly at 4PM.
