Obituary for Dorothea Lyn Rudary (Halturewicz)

SARATOGA LAKE - Dorothea “Lyn” Rudary, 66, passed away, Thursday, April 18th, after a hard fought battle with cancer, in the safety of her home, with her loving family by her side.
Born in England, March 14, 1958, daughter of the late Lt. Col. Francis and Rosemarie (Adinolfi) Halturewicz, Jr, Lyn graduated from High School in Montclair, NJ and earned an Associate’s Degree from Schenectady County Community College. Lyn was a homemaker, who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, arts and crafts, and bowling. She also had an entrepreneurial spirit, as she was an owner & operator of Amigos Restaurant in Stillwater and ran her own home cleaning business. She loved the company of her children, grandkids, her siblings and their families, especially throughout the summer months.
Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Thomas A. Rudary, two proud sons: Frank (Stacie) Rudary of Gansevoort and Ben (Zia) Rudary of Dedham, MA, her adored grandchildren: Kynlie, Kensie, and Wyatt Rudary. Her loyal siblings: Sharon Cozzini of California, Tom (Deborah) Halturewicz of New Jersey and her twin sister Marie Boyark of Saratoga, and her Aunts Charlene Green, Toni Cooper and Karen Bessette, along with nieces, nephews and their families.
Visiting / calling hours will be held on Sunday, Apr 21st from 2-4 PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville, followed by a Funeral Home service at 4 PM.
