Obituary for Richard J. "Rick" Noblett

MECHANICVILLE - Richard J. “Rick” Noblett, 44, of Brickyard Rd, passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2023. Born in Colorado on December 14, 1978, he was the son of Air Force veterans, Dianne Petronis Noblett and the late John “Gregg” Noblett.
A 1997 Mechanicville High School and later HVCC graduate, Rick was a talented bowler. He was also a great youth baseball pitcher with a unique delivery that stymied most of the batters he faced. Starting in his childhood, Rick was an avid reader, something that he carried on throughout his adult life. He loved animals, whether it was his family dogs and cats, wild birds, or anything else for that matter. He also had quite a green thumb, enthusiastically helping with the family garden. Rick and his brother were proud Boy Scouts growing up, with their father being active as their Scout Leader. Rick was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan.
Recently, Rick started working for Adirondack Hemp Company, where he was responsible for many jobs throughout the day. This was a job he really enjoyed since starting there about a year ago. He had also worked for other local companies in various retail positions over the years.
Survivors in addition to his mother, Dianne, include his brother, Rob W. Noblett, partner and best friend over the past 5 years, Travis Allen, aunts Kimberly Petronis and Paula Volpe, and her family. He will be deeply missed by his cousins, friends and co-workers.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 25th from 12-2PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 South Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. In Lieu of flowers, Ricks’s family has asked that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Richard “Rick” Noblett.
