Obituary for Audrey L. Cirella (Sears)

STILLWATER - Audrey L.. Cirella, 85, of Dorchester Dr., passed away on Wednesday, October 18th at Saratoga Hospital, after a short illness. Born in Peasleeville, NY February 20, 1938 daughter of the late Orville and Arlie Durgan Sears, Audrey was a graduate of Peru High School.
She worked as a supervisor in the records management area of the NYS Department of Labor, Unemployment Insurance Division for 37 years, retiring in 1993. While raising her children, she was a former member of the local home school association. She enjoyed crocheting, always sharing her creations with family and friends, and was a talented seamstress, offering alterations to anyone in need. She was an avid bowler throughout the years and at home, enjoyed playing games on her computer.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Michael A. Cirella, and siblings Heman and Frank Sears, and Laurel Curti.
Survivors include her daughter Pamela Cirella of Stillwater, son Michael(Suzanne) Cirella of Mechanicville, grandchildren: Tanya (Ryan Cornelius) Wason, Tyler Colclough, Rose(Ginger Valentine) and Daniel(Emily Linendoll) and great grandchildren Nickolas, Adriana, and Baylee. Also siblings Nathan and Earl Sears, Abbie Lechowit, sister in law and dear friend Ann Cirella Reilly, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Wednesday, Oct. 25th from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 895 Hudson Ave., Stillwater, with entombment to follow in St. Paul’s Mausoleum.
