Obituary for Lisa M. Russom (Russom)
STILLWATER - Lisa Marie Russom, 46, native and lifelong resident of Stillwater, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Albany Medical Center, after a several year battle with CNS Lymphoma. Born in Troy on March 26, 1977, she was the daughter of Garth Russom of Stillwater, and the late Barbara Bolton Russom, who died in 1991.
A 1995 graduate of Stillwater High School, Lisa was a proud mother of her four adoring children. She enjoyed crocheting, loved working her garden and canning the foods that came out of it, and rarely missed her Dunkin iced coffee in the morning. She was also an extreme animal lover who enjoyed raising her own chickens.
Survivors in addition to her father include her four children, Brendan, Abigail, Connor, and David Russom, as well as her sister Laura(Jonathan) Rychcik. After her mother passed at such a young age, her aunt and uncle, Sue and Anthony Stalioritis, assisted in raising Lisa and her sister. Their children, Kimberly Halse and Tamara Girard, became their sisters as well. She is also survived by her nephews and niece, Bradley and Caden Rychcik, Jack and Jillian Girard, as well as many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.
Private services will be held for the family. There will be no public calling hours. Burial alongside her mother in St. Peter’s Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 in loving memory of Lisa M. Russom.
