Obituary for Leah Joyce Wells (Lavery)
CLIFTON PARK - Leah Wells, 88, of Clifton Park passed away on Thursday March 30th after a long illness. She was a graduate of Nathan Littauer School of Nursing and worked briefly at St Clare's Hospital before working for over 30 years for the Schenectady Orthopedic Associates.
She was predeceased by her husband Merrill H. Wells, parents Gordon and Alma Fetter Lavery and mother-in-law Florence V. Wells.
She is survived by her son Merrill Wells of Fort Worth, TX, daughter and son-in-law Heidi and Jeff Serbalik of Clifton Park, NY and sisters Sandra Bemis (Harold) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Shirley Tiffany of Mercy, NY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 3rd from 5-7PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A funeral home service will follow starting at 7PM.
