Obituary for Wendy L. Stockwell (Jaquish)

MECHANICVILLE - Wendy Lynn Stockwell, 58, sadly passed away on Tuesday, March 7th, at Albany Medical Center, after being stricken at home earlier that morning.
Born in Troy, February 13, 1965, daughter of the late William and Dolores Moore Jaquish, Wendy was a 1983 graduate of Mechanicville High School. She was a floor manager for Sofco Tissue Co of Scotia for more than 20 years, before retiring. Upon retirement, Wendy took on the best job in the world, tending to her daughters and their grand kids.
Wendy enjoyed trying her luck at the Racino, loved visiting the ocean and sunning on the beaches. She was a member of the American Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary, and All Saints on the Hudson Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, her BOO, Bill Stockwell, two adored daughters: Amanda and Mike Blowers and Alyssa and David Millard both of Mechanicville, Grandchildren: Ariana, Grant, Brock, Kodi and Caylin, and her extra son Michael Carey Jr, loyal brother William (Rebecca) Jaquish of Metter, Georgia, brother-in-law Mark Cleveland of Cohoes, along with nieces, nephews and their families and her favorite fur baby Simba. In addition to her parents, predeceased recently by her sister Penny Cleveland on Feb 23rd and an infant brother Kevin Jaquish.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St, Mechanicville, with burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery.
Calling Hours at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, in loving memory of Wendy Lynn Stockwell.
