Obituary for Francine Peluso (DeMarco)
MALTA - Francine DeMarco Peluso, 76, died peacefully on February 17, 2023, at Saratoga Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Troy on October 12, 1946, daughter of the late Octavio “Dave” and Gladys Izzo Demarco, she was a 1964 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
Francine, in her own words, worshipped her 4 year old granddaughter Alessia. Over the last several years she has embraced technology and was able to be in regular communication with her through the use of her Grandpad tablet. She was also a devoted mother and sister.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Gregory and Natacha Peluso, of Fairfield, CT, cherished granddaughter Alessia Alvarez Peluso, brother in law Paul Parker, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends. She was sadly predeceased by her sister Lucille Parker, this past August..
A private committal service at St. Paul’s Cemetery will be held for her family. A gathering of family and friends will be held at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul’s), 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Saturday, February 25th from 10-11AM with a Memorial Mass to follow, beginning at 11AM.
Those wishing to remember her in a special way are asked to make donations in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
