Obituary for Helen F. Marshall (Hagadorn)
STILLWATER - Helen F. Marshall, 92, of Gronczniak Rd, died on January 27, 2023 in the comfort of her home, and in the company of her loving family. Born in Saratoga Springs on December 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edith White Hagadorn and wife of the late Maurice R. Marshall.
A genuinely caring person at heart, she was a devoted housewife and caregiver for many members of her large family. She also worked for Maplewood Manor as a Nurse’s Aide for several years. She was a hard worker who was responsible for various everyday duties at the Marshall Family Farm. She was a longtime member of the Eagles Club Kaydeross #2586, enjoyed playing Euchre with friends at the American Legion, Post 490 Stillwater, and around the home, was a tremendous cook and baker.
In addition to her husband Maurice and parents Clarence and Edith, Helen was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Gowell, Doris Schultz, and Jeanette Marshall, as well as her brothers Charles, David, and Robert Hagadorn.
Survivors include her children, Joan Marshall of North Chili, NY, Frank(Colleen) Marshall of Stillwater, Michael(Mary)Marshall of Schuylerville, and Rick(Annie) Hagadorn of Stillwater, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Also her siblings Keith(Mary) Hagadorn, Nancy Ody, and Bessie(Joe) Belanger, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 12-2PM at All Saints on the Hudson(St. Peter’s) Church, 895 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2PM with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208.
