Obituary for Ann M. Mone (Ardziewicz)
MECHANICVILLE - Ann Mary Ardziewicz Mone, 67, former resident of Mechanicville, died Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, at Suncoast Hospice, Pinellas Park, Florida, following a brief illness.
Born in Troy, February 7, 1955, daughter of the late Walter and Stasia Ardziewicz, she was a 1973 graduate of Mechanicville High School. Ann Mary was an administrative assistant for the New York State Insurance Dept. in Albany, retiring after 37 years.
She enjoyed attending garage sales and shopping, especially for that unique purse, took a number of cruises with family and friends, made delicious handmade pierogies and honored family values and traditions. She was a proud member of her family’s Polish roots church, St. Michael’s Church of Cohoes.
Survivors include her beloved son David and wife Natalia Mone Jr. of St. Petersburg, Florida, her loyal brother Donald Ardziewicz and a host of friends and family. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Ardziewicz.
Calling Hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 10 AM till Noon.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Michael’s Church, 20 Page Ave., Cohoes on Saturday at 1 PM, with burial to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Remembrances may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army, in respectful memory of Ann Mary Ardziewicz Mone.
