MECHANICVILLE - Carolyn A. Ingle, 80, of Hemstreet Park, died peacefully in the comfort of her niece’s home on December 27, 2022, after a long illness. Born in Troy on December 28, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mildred Monest Murphy, and wife of the late Carson Ingle.
A Mechanicville High School graduate, Carolyn worked as a secretary for the NYS Department of Law for many years until her retirement. Always itching to test her luck, she enjoyed scratch off tickets and especially loved her time in the Bingo hall. She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her niece, and loving caregiver, Carolyn Campbell. In addition to her parents and husband Carson, she was predeceased by her sister Gail Campbell.
Her niece Carolyn would like to acknowledge the special care given to her aunt by her caregivers Donna Rose, Terry Jones, and Lisa McMahon, as well as the recent comfort and support provided by Anna of Community Hospice.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Stillwater.
