Andy was a model train enthusiast, lover of fast cars (especially Corvettes), enjoyed playing golf, boating on Lake George, and watching the New York Football Giants.

Andy was a former volunteer fireman with the Mechanicville FD’s Nielson Hose Co # 4, for many years. The Mechanicville Football and Soccer programs were graced with Andy’s leadership, serving as electrical engineer for the community based replacement of football/soccer field lighting. He took great pride in contributing to the all-volunteer project.
