Obituary for Jean J. Webb (Miranda)

MECHANICVILLE - Jean Julia Webb, 89, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 8th, 2022. Jean was born on August 21, 1933 in Cohoes, NY. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Miranda. She graduated from Cohoes High School in 1951 and then attended Albany Business College. Following college Jean worked for the State Department of Transportation for 30 years and retired in 1995. In 1961 she married her devoted husband Terry E. Webb and they were married for 51 years and together they raised their three daughters; Lisa, Laurie, and Lynn.

As Jean enters her peaceful world and is reunited with her husband Terry she leaves behind her daughters, Lisa Slusarz, Laurie (Mark) Polsinello, and Lynn (Doug) Pinzer. As well as her sister Joyce Lemrow, her 7 adored grandchildren; Michael, Brian (Melyssa), and Kevin Slusarz, Julia (Frank) and Logan Polsinello, and Benjamin and Madison Pinzer and three sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Jean was predeceased by her brother Michael Miranda. Jean enjoyed making sauce and meatballs for Sunday dinners and during the Christmas season you would find her in her kitchen baking a variety of delicious cookies. She happily shared all recipes with her family and it will be a life-long tradition. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family. Whether it be attending a sporting event for a grandchild, a family vacation, weekends at the track, cooking a grilled cheese sandwich or simply watching a Hallmark movie. As long as her family was by her side she was happy. She also spent time reading novels and magazines, loved playing games, painting pictures, and reading the morning paper on her I- Pad.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Renee Goyer and Tracy Kohls for their unparalleled care and loving support. Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Carl Sgambati and his staff for their tireless efforts.
