Obituary for Lucille A. Parker (DeMarco)

MALTA - Lucille DeMarco Parker, 78, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her home, on August 2, 2022. Born in Lubbock, TX on August 17, 1943, daughter of the late Ottavio “Dave” and Gladys Izzo DeMarco, she was a 1961 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
Lucille worked for Northway Travel Trailers for over 20 years, not only as a secretary, but as a onetime owner along with her husband Paul. She was also a former member of the Round Lake Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary and a longtime communicant of Assumption-St Paul Church and Corpus Christi.
Lucille’s family was the most precious thing to her. Her grandchildren had a special way of lighting up her day. She cherished the time she spent with them.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul R. Parker, Sr, whom she married May 7, 1966, her sons Paul (Christine) Parker Jr of Malta, and David (Ann) Parker of Galena, OH, grandchildren Austin Parker (Megan Miller) and Sarrah Parker, her sister Francine Peluso and several nieces and nephews.
A Calling Hour will be held at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul’s), 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Friday, August 5th from 10-11AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 11AM with entombment to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Those wishing to remember her in a special way are asked to make donations in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
