STILLWATER - Carole Gaudette, 85, of County Road 75, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on June 8, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born in Clifton, NJ on September 30, 1936, daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Arensman Kamarony, she was a Stillwater High School graduate.
Carole, affectionately known as “Lolly”, she worked as a clerk for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance for many years. She loved the ocean, whales, and most animals. She enjoyed her trips to Gloucester, MA and most of all, enjoyed the company and time spent with her family.
Lolly was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, William “Bud” Gaudette, in 2009, as well as her sister Ruth and her husband Jack Gartner.
Survivors include her two sons: William(Sandy) C. and Brian J. Gaudette, 3 granddaughters Mary Rose, Carol Ann and Cassandra Lynn Gaudette, 4 great grandchildren: Adrianna, Cameron, Lorenzo and Mariella, her sister Gloria Miller and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Friday, June 17th at NOON. Those wishing to attend are asked to be at the Cemetery Visitor Center by 11:45 but no sooner than 11:30AM.
