Obituary for Mark A. Lennox

ROCK CITY FALLS- Mark A. Lennox, 59, died suddenly at home, Tuesday, May 31st, after being stricken with heart failure. Born December 27, 1962 in Troy, son of the late John and Ramona Baker Lennox, Mark grew up and was educated in Troy.
He owned and operated his family business, Lennox and Son Contractors, a construction and remodeling business for years. They had many satisfied customers over the years.
A true sportsman, Mark loved hunting and fishing, proudly had a large collection of deer mounts and other game. A high scoring bowler, Mark had 31 300 games, a number of 800 triples, and collected many plaques, trophies, rings and other recognitions for his bowling capabilities. He also had played baseball in the Capital District baseball league and was a sharp horseshoe thrower. He was an avid New York Yankee and NY Jets fan, and tried his luck at the Racino often.
Survivors include sons: Anthony (Krystle) Lennox, Frankie (Ashlyn) Taylor, Dustin (Miranda) Lennox, step-children Clinton and Cassie Waddell, 18 grandchildren and a great grandson. Significant companion Cathleen Eddy and her children. His siblings: Kimberly (Bert) Bouchey and John (Fran) Lennox, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sat June 4th from 2-4PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Home service will follow starting at 4PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 in fond memory of Mark A. Lennox.
