Obituary for Robert J Zennaiter Jr.
HALFMOON – Robert J. Zennaiter Jr, 22, longtime resident of Mechanicville/Stillwater area, died tragically on April 23rd at Albany Medical Center. He was born on March 14, 2000, son of Robert J. Zennaiter Sr and Lisa Hough Zennaiter, both of Mechanicville.
Rob worked for Ross Concrete, Mechanicville for over 4 years and most recently worked for Rite-Aid.
He was a talented musician, often writing and performing his own music, ranging from rap to country music. Many of his songs were self released and enjoyed by many. Rob also enjoyed being with friends, playing basketball, riding his BMX bike, and bowling.
Survivors in addition to his parents Bob and Lisa include his sisters Julia and Emily Zennaiter, his nephew Jordan Peterson, grandparents Joseph Zennaiter Jr, Donna Garmley, Patti Hough and Peter Deegan, great grandfather Joseph Zennaiter Sr, godparents Heidi Newman and Alan Baird and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Through the tragedy of Rob’s passing, and the courage and unselfishness of his family, his kidney’s were donated to another person to save their life.
Calling hours at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY on Thursday from 12-2 PM. Private funeral service and burial will be held for his family.
