Obituary for Diana Marie Dickinson
MELROSE - Diana M. Dickinson, 49, passed away at Albany Medical Center on December 27, 2021, from complications of several prior health issues. Born in Troy on June 23, 1972, daughter of the late Rickey and Susan Bull Dickinson Sr., she was a 1990 graduate of Hoosic Valley High School.
Diana worked as a teacher's aide at CEO Head Start in Troy for several years, prior to a series of health issues. Over the past 9 years, she dedicated her life to her son Connor. She enjoyed baking with her mom as well as crafts and shopping.
Survivors include her son Connor Dickinson, brother Rickey Dickinson Jr of Gloversville, nephew Rickey III, aunts Robyn Bonvicin and Darcy(Christopher) Connolly, niece Kendall(Elliott) Spears.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-7PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with a funeral home service to follow beginning at 7PM. Burial alongside her mother and father in Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke will take place Wednesday at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist in the future care of her son Connor. Checks made payable to Connor Dickinson may be mailed to DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home.
