Obituary for Howard E. "Howie" Condon Jr.
STILLWATER - Howard E. Condon Jr., 73, passed away on November 19, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital. Born July 27, 1948 in Waterford NY, he was the son of the late Howard Condon Sr. and Jeanette (Drombetta) Sacco.
Howie served in the US Army 101st Airborne from 1968 to 1970. Retired from Mohawk Paper Mill he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and sharing a cold beverage with family and friends.
Survived by his wife of 31 years Colleen Sheehan, two daughters, Hollene (Todd) Garofano of Ballston Spa, and Christine Falcone of Waterford, grandson Christopher Garofano of Ballston Spa, his brother Edward (Denise) Condon of Waterford, nephew Edward Condon and niece Gina Madigan, along with many extended family members. Sadly predeceased by his granddaughter McKenzie Falcone.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. A public burial service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery visitor's center at 12:45PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 490, 1 American Legion Way, Stillwater, NY 12170 or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
