STILLWATER - Sheryl Pregent Thompson, 61 of River Road, died Saturday evening, Oct 23rd, at her home, in the loving company of her family, after fighting years long battle with lung cancer.
Born in Troy, Sept 15th, 1960, daughter of the late Marshall and Mary Pregent and sister of the late William M. Pregent.
Sheryl had been manager of Rent A Center in Mechanicville, was a longtime receptionist for Dr. Vincent Fuschino Dental Office for 17 years, and many years ago was manager for Brooks Fashions in Mohawk Mall.
Sheryl enjoyed long rides thru the Adirondack Mountains, soaking up natures beauty with her husband and family. She enjoyed her time at home, and the company of her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years David J. Thompson, her daughter Jessica (Jason DuPont) Brown of Stillwater, all her adopted children, grandchildren: Arrhianna, Ameliah and Damian, along with her nephew Joe Pregent, and in-laws and their families.
A Funeral Service will he held on Friday at 6 PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville. Calling hours will held from 4-6PM preceding the 6 PM service.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Saratoga Oncology, care of Dr Delgiacco, in memory of Sheryl A. Thompson.
