Obituary for Constance A. "Connie" Morcone (Bagnoli)

MECHANICVILLE - Constance A. Morcone, 95, of Chestnut St, died peacefully on October 22, 2021 at Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare Center, with her loving family at her side. Born in Mechanicville on August 2, 1926, daughter of the late Pasquale and Costanza Rossi Bagnoli, she was a 1944 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
Connie worked as a secretary for the dental office of Dr. Ray DeCrescente for 13 years. She also held the position of office manager for the former Assumption Church for many years and later as it transitioned to Assumption-St. Paul Parish. Always staying busy, she had also worked part time for various local business, including DiSiena Furniture. She was a past member of the Italian Fraternal Society Ladies Auxiliary and was a Den Mother for Troop 34, Ballston Spa.
A lifelong member of Assumption St Paul Parish(All Saints on the Hudson), she was committed to her faith and church, serving as a religious education teacher and also a member of the church's Rosary Altar Society.
The only female of large Bagnoli family, she was the matriarch of the family and looked over her brothers through the years.
Connie was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Paul J Morcone as well as her son Robert Morcone and siblings Mario Rossi, Sisto, Salvatore "Tuggy", Orlando "Willie" and Armando Bagnoli.
Survivors include her son Edward(Janice) Morcone of Mechanicville, daughter Lynn(John) Leidel of Lady Lake, FL, daughter in law Elaine Morcone, grandchildren Deanna(Stuart) Morse, Paul(Stephanie) Morcone, Tara(Jason) Snyder, Keri(Brendan) Cunningham, Laura Morcone, Christopher(Suzanne) and Robert(Deni) Leidel, great grandchildren Meredith, Blake, Santino, Clare, Kate, Mae and Jack, and many nieces, nephews and their families.

Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Monday from 5-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1030AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville with burial alongside her husband and son to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 in loving memory of Connie M. Morcone.
