Obituary for Georgianne M. Gibson (Markiewicz)
MECHANICVILLE - Georgianne M. Gibson, 53, of South Railroad St, died unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center on September 15, 2021, after a series of recent medical issues. Born in Somerset, NJ on December 9, 1967, daughter of the late R. Edward and Helen Markiewicz, she was a graduate of Mechanicville High School.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Rex S. Gibson, whom she married on February 17, 1992, brother Ron Edward Markiewicz and sister Donna Martinoli.
An inurnment service will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at 10AM at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871. Those wishing to attend are asked to be at the visitor's center of the cemetery ay 9:45AM. There will be no calling hours.
In remembrance, donations may be made to the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, C/O MACSC, PO Box 30, Mechanicville, NY 12118 in loving memory of Georgianne M. Gibson.
