Obituary for Sherry A. Wise
STILLWATER - Sherry Wise 70, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 after a courageous battle with several illnesses. Born in Troy on May 1, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Margaret "Peggy" McDonald. Sherry was a graduate of Stillwater Central School and went on to attend Spencer Business School, Schenectady. Sherry was predeceased by her sister Mary Agnes Lemrow and sister in law Margaret McDonald.
Earlier in life Sherry enjoyed dancing, bowling, and raising her children. Later in life, Sherry enjoyed word puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years and main caregiver Don Wise. Also, her children, Nicole Wise of Cohoes, NY, Colleen Wise(Steve) of Ballston Spa, NY, Mike(Deanna) Wise of Stillwater, NY, and Megan Wise(James) of Warren Center, PA, brothers Laurence (Janice) McDonald of Waukesha, WI, and Terrance McDonald of Stillwater, NY. Her beloved grandchildren Cazlynn(Chris) Caraballo, Lyric Wise and Gavin Quick, and her great granddaughter Jhené Caraballo, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Sherry's family wishes to give special thanks to the Saratoga Hospital ICCU nurses Brittney and Paige for taking great care of Sherry.
Calling hours will be held on Monday July 26th from 5-7PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A funeral home service will follow at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NYOH Community Cancer Foundation, 449 Route 146, Suite 101, Clifton Park, New York 12065 in memory of Sherry A. Wise.
