HALFMOON - Thomas A. Corrigan, Jr, 58, affectionately known as "Butch", died unexpectedly in his home on Monday, May 17, 2021. Butch was born in Albany on September, 12, 1962, son of Thomas and Patricia (Sweeney) Corrigan Sr. of Halfmoon. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and Hudson Valley Community College.

Butch was a devoted and hard working truck driver for most of his working life, having worked for John R. Mott Trucking and R.L. Trucking Incorporated.
Butch was a sports fanatic, and especially enjoyed rooting for the NY Jets. He enjoyed trips to the casino, horse racing and anything else that offered a chance at friendly wagering.
Butch found great purpose in life to being a "Pop Pop" to his granddaughter which allowed for a nurturing and loving relationship with not only her, but with his daughter. He looked forward to their weekly check-ins and updated photos. The past year has been a blessing for their family.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his daughter Jessi and her husband Paul Boucher of Schuylerville, his beloved granddaughter Molly Boucher, sister Patricia (Mark) Lake of Mechanicville, and his nieces Lauren and Alison and their families. In addition, he leaves behind many other valued relationships and friendships.
Calling hours on Monday, May 24th from 5-7PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A funeral home service will follow at 7PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 25th at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tibbits Avenue, Troy at 10AM.
