Obituary for Margaret Deidre Mayer
MECHANICVILLE - Margaret D. Mayer, 62, of N Main St, died in the comfort of her home on Monday, May 3, 2021. Born in Long Island, daughter of the late Donald and Mary Ploss, she was a Chatham High School graduate.
Margaret worked for the NYS Department of Education, Licensing Department for many years.
In her spare time and after retirement, she enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, and she especially loved music.
Survivors include her daughters Tegan(Jacob) Carknard of Mechanicville, Brittany Mayer(Joshua Coso) of Clifton Park, grandsons Maxwell and Jack Carknard and several siblings.
Calling hours on Monday, May 10th from 5-7PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A funeral home service will follow at 7PM. Private burial in Chatham Rural Cemetery.
