MECHANICVILLE - Eileen M. Sullivan, 77, died Wednesday April 28th at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and with an abundance of love from family and friends. The sun rose on January 16, 1944 and God gave us the gift of Eileen, a day that so many would come to cherish. Eileen lived a full, Beautiful Life, inspiring friends and family alike with her endless amounts of compassion and love. No she may be gone, a light like hers can never be stifled. Eileen's generosity lives on after death as she has chosen to participate in the Albany Medical Center Anatomical Gift Program. Her donation will help future healthcare professionals train to be the talented providers they will become.

Eileen was predeceased by her parents Timothy and Rita Jordan Sullivan, and her brother Michael.
She is survived by her niece and nephew Mary Sullivan of Cohoes and Kevin Sullivan of Vietnam, as well as her sister-in-law, Darlene Sullivan of Mechanicville.
After graduating from Stillwater High School, Eileen made her way into the business world, finding a wonderful job with EPSILON in Boston, MA. After returning to Mechanicville in 2000, Eileen enjoyed working in many capacities for the city of Mechanicville for 16 years. Eileen was highly regarded and esteemed throughout her career and in her community. She was also an active member of All Saints on the Hudson Church. After retiring, Eileen spent her time enjoying love and life with friends and family. Eileen was a beautiful soul who undoubtedly is now with the angels.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville NY 12118 from 5 to 7PM. A Funeral Mass at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main Street, Mechanicville NY will be on Wednesday, May 5th at 1PM.
