MECHANICVILLE - Amanda Lee Rich, 28 former longtime resident of Mechanicville, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 3rd. Born in Plymouth, N.H., she was daughter of Brenda Spickler Wadsworth.
Educated at Mechanicville Public Schools, Amanda had worked as a warehouse checker for Target's distribution center in Wilton.
She enjoyed hikes and nature walks, sitting around camp fires, and all agreed she was a FREE SPIRIT.
Survivors in addition to her mother and step father Brenda Spickler Wadsworth and Dennis Wadsworth of Wilton include her son Nathan Wheeler, her trusted brother Joe (Sara Barry) Spickler of Mechanicville, step sister Jennifer Craft, step brother Dennis Wadsworth, Jr, and grandmother Emma Spickler of Mechanicville, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 7 PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours will precede service from 5-7 PM. Pandemic guidelines will be followed by social distancing, wearing of masks and limited attendance.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances are asked to be made to Amanda's Mom, for the future needs of her beautiful son Nathan, in care of the Funeral Home.
