Obituary for Judith Giambona (McLaughlin)
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Judith (McLaughlin) Giambona died peacefully on Sunday, March 14th, at Gateway House of Peace. Born in Stillwater, NY on June 17, 1934, daughter of the late George and Julia McLaughlin.
After her marriage to Orazio Giambona she moved to Mechanicville and later to Ballston Spa.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and doing needlepoint. After retirement she and Roz liked to travel across the country, spending the winter in Yuma, Arizona.
She was predeceased by her husband Orazio Giambona, her son Michael Giambona, and several siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Julia Orsini of Ballston Spa, her daughter Roseann Garwacki and her husband Mark of Huntington Beach, CA, and her son Joseph Giambona of Ballston Spa. Survivors also include her 5 grand and 1 great child, her sisters Mary Ann Knipe and Karen Smith, her brothers John and Peter McLaughlin, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Wednesday from 10-1130AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with a funeral home service to immediately follow.
Burial will be at Saratoga National Cemetery at 1PM.
