Obituary for Stephanie Anne Barber (Barber)

MECHANICVILLE - Stephanie Anne Barber, 38, died suddenly on March 2 due to complications from Type 1 Diabetes. Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Joyce Barber Floud and Jonathan Kerley, mother of Katrina Teal and Aria Phillips, and life partner to Jerry Phillips.

Stephanie was a talented pen and ink artist, creating a number of beautiful drawings over the years. She enjoyed traveling in the US, attending concerts, camping, and collecting her treasured sugar skulls. She was outgoing and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all, Stephanie adored her daughters and the joy they brought her was ever present in her day to day life.

Stephanie is survived by her mother and stepfather Joyce and Jim Floud, her father Jonathan Kerley, her daughters Katrina (Jess) Teal and Aria, her companion and best friend Jerry Phillips and siblings James Floud Jr and Jamie Floud, as well as many more family members who will all miss her vibrant and loving presence.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 20th from 1-3 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Pandemic guidelines will be followed, wearing of masks and social gathering is required.
