Obituary for Carmella D. Bucci (Gagliardi)
MECHANICVILLE - Carmella D. Bucci, 95, of N Main St, died peacefully on March 8, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness, with her loving family at her side. Born in Mechanicville on February 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Leone and Maria Vaccara Gagliardi.
Carm was a full time mother and grandmother, who over the years entertained, fed, and cared for many friends and family at her kitchen table. She was a skilled cook and baker who never turned away the company of her visitors.
Over the years, she assisted with her children's businesses, as any loving mother would.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband of nearly 40 years, Eugene M. Bucci in 1988, son in law Michael Waldron and granddaughter in law Karen Micklas and siblings Sebastian "Busty" Gagliardi, Andrew "Reddy Fox", Angelo and Jimmy Gagliardi, Philomena Kurjiaka, Sylvia "Ceil" Caputo and infant sister Philomena Gagliardi.
Survivors include her daughter Joy(John) Taglione of Schaghticoke, son Michael(Denise) Bucci of Mechanicville, grandchildren Michael(Gretta) and Heath Taglione, Kari Taglione Daley, Michael and Ashley Bucci, great grandchildren Sophia, Mia, Natalia and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
