HALFMOON - Christopher D. Matrazzo, 43, of Swatling Falls, died suddenly Friday, Dec. 25th at home, of natural causes. Born in Albany, March 24, 1977, son of Joy Dillon Matrazzo and the late Ralph L. Matrazzo who died in 2012.
A 1996 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Chris was a stock clerk for Wal-Mart of Clifton Park for the past 2 years. Previously he worked for 20 years for Boston Market in Latham, as an assistant manager.
Chris enjoyed all sports and followed his NY Giants and Mets, along with all types of sporting events on television. Years ago, he was a hiker, kayaker and loved fishing with his Dad. Chris was enamored with Sasquatch, and kept a vigil watch of sightings and lore of that genre.
Survivors in addition to his Mother include his two sisters: Melissa (Wayne Nethercott) DuBray of Halfmoon and Kelli (James) Galati of Clifton Park, nieces and nephews Mikayla and Joshua DuBray and Dominic, Alexa and Gia Galati, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Private services are being held at the convenience of the family. Spring burial in Dunning St. Cemetery.
