Obituary for Timothy I. Maloy

GRANVILLE - Timothy I. Maloy, 80, of Sheldon Rd, died Thursday December 6th at Wesley Health Care Center, with his loving family at his side. Born in Plattsburgh on June 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles Paul and Dorothy Laundrie Maloy, Jr.
Tim served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in September of 1963.
He was a master mechanic and heavy equipment operator for August Bohl Contracting Co in Albany for many years until retirement. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 158 and also the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 158, District 206. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post 490, Stillwater.
Tim enjoyed puttering around the house, spending countless hours in his garage fixing just about anything. A true “jack of all trades”, Tim’s specialty was welding.
Survivors include his wife Carol Baker Maloy, with whom he recently celebrated their 58th anniversary on November 24th. Also his children Michael(Becky) Maloy of Schenectady and Molly(Ronald) Brownell of Saratoga Springs, grandchildren Brandon and Meghan Montanye and his sister Judith Maloy.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with burial in the family plot in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rouse Point, NY.
