MALTA - Patricia .Ferrara Luther passed away Thanksgiving morning Nov. 22nd at Schuyler Ridge with family by her side.
She was born in Troy,NY, to parents Joseph and Rose Ferrara, she was a longtime Mechanicville resident and an honorary member of the Clements sister’s crew.
After attending Mechanicville Schools, Patricia began her training at St. Peter’s School of Nursing.
Her years of Nursing included St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, as an Operating Room Nurse, Leonard Hospital Emergency room and ending her career with great pride, as school nurse of Mechanicville Elementary School for many years.
Being the Saratoga Avenue neighborhood nurse was something she took in stride and enjoyed.
In 1998, they relocated to Luther Forest, Malta where they became part of the gang with neighborhood gatherings and block parties.
Pat and her husband, Ed, enjoyed Mechanicville football games, going on long car rides, annual family vacations at Horseneck Beach and most of all family gatherings.
Patricia was a wealth of knowledge and loved to share family stories with loved ones. Her cooking and kind soul will be heartfully and deeply missed by her daughters: Linda, Elaine and Kathy. As well as Grandchildren; Valerie, Austin, Caitlin, Sam, and 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville Monday from 5-7 PM.
