Obituary for Jeremy S. "Whoppers" Watrobski

MECHANICVILLE - Jeremy S. “Whoppers” Watrobski, 37, of Pawling Ave, died suddenly in his home on October 12, 2018. Born in Niskayuna on January 6, 1981, son of Loreen Roy Watrobski and the late Donald Watrobski, he was a 1999 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
A proud longtime member of the Mechanicville Fire Department, he was a former vice president of the W.B. Neilson Hose Co. #4 and gave countless hours to the department. He also volunteered for the Waterford Rescue Squads EMS for some time.
A diehard NY Yankee and NY Giants fan, he enjoyed golfing and always looked forward to his weekends hanging out with his buddies. He was a frequent visitor of the Saratoga Racetrack and spent many days there with friends Timmer and Eddie.
Survivors include his loving mother, siblings Casey “CJ” Watrobski of Queens, NY and Karey(Anthony) Finelli of Mechanicville, his precious nephew whom he loved dearly Tyler Finelli, grandfather Stanley “Dgjie” Watrobski, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Oct. 16 from 4-7PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery
