Went Fishing

My dearest David, First and foremost I want to say I love you and miss you dearly. I hear you just went fishing is all, fishing with all the gang up at the big fishing hole in the sky. I bet it’s beautiful there ain’t it and the fish are huge and your not just catching these little tiny sperm size ones like we joked about are you ? Those were the days, well at least you’re with family and friends who love to fish and have a cold one and enjoy your laughter and jokes.. You’ll forever remain in my heart. You’ll forever be loved. I’m sorry we couldn’t spend more time together. God apparently needed you worse than I did. I’m still trying to find that impossible but I hear it’s true. Who am I to doubt God’s plans? Who am I to question who he takes and why? I guess I need not to be selfish huh. You my dearest Dave, my angel above, you enjoy your fishing days. Just sit back, enjoy the sunsets, crack open a cold one, throw your line in the big blue lake in the sky and catch the biggest fish you’ve ever caught in your life. When you catch that big granddaddy of a trout I want to know about it right away.. I’m writing this just to remind myself that when I’m thinking about you, to just pull up this note and say oh yea Dave just “Went Fishing” is all. RIP Roy David Miller 11-28-61 08-11-18
