George and Nick, It was with great sadness that I opened The Express today to learn of your Betty's passing. She walked on water, as far as my Dad and Mom were concerned; she was a true friend and a wonderful person. I remember, George, your wedding day so well ( it was my first wedding experience) and the elegant reception in Latham with the unforgettable candied almonds. Betty was so proud, and rightly so, of Nick, and I'm so happy that she lived to enjoy her grandkids. Thank you, Betty, for being there for my Dad who so appreciated your character and skills.
