Obituary for Bridget A. Bouchard (Robbins)

HALFMOON - Bridget Anne Bouchard, 73, of Thoroughbred Ln, Vosburgh Mobile Home Park, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday June 17, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dayton, OH, daughter of Leota Robbins of Lancaster, OH and the late James Robbins, she was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School and later Ohio Dominican University.
She was a former principal at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Grove City, OH and taught at the former Villa Madonna School in Columbus, OH.
Most recently, Bridget worked as an educational program aide for the NYS Dept. of Education for many years.
She was a member of the Mechanicville Senior Citizens Bocce League and also attended the groups other senior events. She loved horses, and had a wide variety of collectibles and portraits. Enjoyed camping, cross country skiing, bingo and cats. She enjoyed riding on her husband’s motorcycle, the two of them logging over 100,000 miles together.
In addition to her mother Leota, survivors include her husband of 36 years, Francis, whom she married on December 5, 1982, siblings Marie(Bob) Miller, Mary Hartshorn, James(Sheila) Robbins, Christopher(Cindy) Robbins and Jennifer(Jose) Aguilar, as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father James and brother Thomas Robbins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints On the Hudson, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Friday, June 22, at 11AM. Calling hours prior to the mass, at the church, will be from 9-11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1 Marcus Blvd, Suite 104, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Bridget Bouchard.
