Obituary for Robert W. Plasencia

MECHANICVILLE - Robert W. Plasencia, 69, of No. Main St., died Friday, June 1st at Gateway Home of Peace, after an extended illness.
Born in Stillwater, Apr 14, 1949, he was son of the late Ernest and Mary “Babe” Thompson Plasencia, Sr.
Bob had been a caretaker at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands for a number of years, and had also been with Jim Martin Professional Cleaning Service.
Bob loved listening to country western music, spent much time at the Double M Rodeo in Malta, and had an intense love of horses.
Bob was a quiet guy, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter Lisa Sterling of Schuylerville, along with grandchildren Nicholas, Austin, Trevor and Savannah. Also brothers: Ernest (Sandy) Jr. and Gary (Deborah) both of Stillwater, John and Tim (Lisa) both of Mechanicville, with nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
In addition to parents, predeceased by sister Linda Cassidy and brother Ronald.
Private services held at the convenience of family.
