Condolence From: Chuck Oakes
Condolence: Although I am relatively new (3 years or so) to Preston's vast musical network (specifically jams and song circles), his spirit and unbounded enthusiasm for music and life were evident every time I saw/heard him. His affinity towards our American West was very compatible with mine and I often wear my Stetson to the sessions. I made a point to connect with him every time I attended the jams. I am delighted that he has found peace and is pain-free now.
