STILLWATER - Susan E. Buck, 73, of Jolly Rd, died Tuesday February 27, at Saratoga Hospital, following a brief illness, with her loving family at her side. Born in Troy, February 15, 1945, daughter of the late William and Marion Guyette Kane, she was a graduate of Troy High School.
Susan enjoyed gardening around the house, keeping up with the flowers she grew, was fond of arts and crafts and was a lover of all animals. She really enjoyed trips to the water, where you could find her with her toes happily in the water. A woman keeping up with the times, she also enjoyed Facebook gaming with her friends.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Anthony “Tony” Buck in 1996 as well as her brothers Richie, Bobby and Tommy Kane.
She is survived by her loving children: Angela Buck of Ballston Lake, Christine(Steve) Rizo of Cleburne, TX, Jennifer(Matt) Fry of Salem, NY, Sherry(Jim) Holmes of Pembroke, MA and Tony(Melissa) Buck of Stillwater; grandchildren Ken and Megan Buck, Steven(Daisy Jones) Rizo, Matt(Kortney Karp) and Jacqulyn Fry and Nate Holmes along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Friday from 5-8 PM. A graveside service will be Saturday at 10AM at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oakwood Avenue, Troy.
