Obituary for Anna M. Forino (Fascia)

MECHANICVILLE - Anna Fascia Forino, 88, longtime resident of N Main Street, died peacefully at Daughters Of Sarah Nursing Home, with her loving family at her side. Born in Mechanicville, November 5, 1929, she was the daughter of Mike and Rose DiNardo Fascia.
Anna worked as a clerk with the NYS Dept of Tax and Finance in Albany for many years and had previously worked at National Cash Register Co in Mechanicville.
She was a member of the Mechanicville Senior Citizens, the Junior Dante Club, the Women’s Democratic Club and a lifelong communicant of the Assumption-St. Paul Parish. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, antiquing and flea markets but most of all enjoyed the time spent with loved ones at the many family gatherings she attended.
Anna was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Vincent “Jim” Forino in 1999 as well as her brothers Louis and John “Peepers” Fascia.

Survivors include her four daughters: Deborah(Frank) Zima of Albany, Ann McQuade of Freehold, N.J., Patricia(Tom) Markessinis of North Greenbush, and Mary(Paul Taylor) Forino of South Glens Falls, grandchildren: Jessica(Matthew Weis) and Benjamin Zima, Audrey and Kara McQuade, Alex(Alexis Kutski) and Evan Markessinis and sisters in law Anna and Eleanor Fascia as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
Calling hours at the CHURCH prior to the mass from 10-11:45AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in memory of Anna M. Forino.
