Obituary for Jennie M. McGillivray (DeFelice)

Jennie M.  McGillivray (DeFelice)
TROY - Mrs. Jennie DeFelice McGillivray, 83 of Kennedy Towers, died Sunday, Feb 18th at Samaritan Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, June 24, 1934, daughter of the late John and Frances Skronsky DeFelice, she grew up and was educated in Mechanicville. Jennie was affectionately known by family and friends as “Jennie Penny”
She was a homemaker, who was a great cook, especially for her family, loved dancing, and was generally a very happy person.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years William K. McGillivray, Jr., her sister Theresa and Joe Sabatino, brothers Joe and Anita DeFelice and John “Babe” DeFelice.
Survivors include her two sons: William (Michelle) III of Syracuse and Scott (Christine Coffey) Sr. of Worchester, Mass, grandchildren: Scott John McGillivray, Jr. and Anya Lynn McGillivray. Also siblings Philomena (Phil) Sabatino of Stillwater and Steve (Sharon White) DeFelice of Mechanicville, along with nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery.
Calling hour at the Funeral Home, Friday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Assn, 220 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
