Obituary for Rose Allen Bull (Dyer)

MECHANICVILLE - Rose Allen Bull, 83, former longtime resident of Mechanicville, died Saturday, Feb 3rd at Albany Medical Ctr, after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, Sept 12, 1934, daughter of the late John and Rose Dyer, Rose was a Certified Nursing Aide for many years, tending the needs of patients at Baptist Retirement in Scotia, Teresian House and Albany County Nursing Home during her career. Rose was a caring staff worker, who looked after her many patients over the years. In her off time, Rose was an avid bingo player, enjoyed reading and puzzle solving, and looked forward to visiting with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husbands: Martin Allen in 1975 and George Bull in 1998, daughter Patricia Moseman in1998 and son David Allen in 2011. Also sisters Rachael Angier, Esther Bailey and Marie Jarvis.
Survivors include her five children: Edna (Donald) Livingston of Schenectady, Stephen Allen of Ballston Spa, John (Tammie Zlotnick) Allen of Middle Grove, Rose (Kevin) Delaney of Ballston Spa and Mark (Michele) Allen of Corinth, grandchildren, her brother Robert Giroux and in-laws Joan Allen Root, Donald Jarvis and Eugene Bailey.

A Burial service will be held on Friday, Feb 9th at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Harris Ave Ext, Mechanicville. Following burial services, family and friends are invited to the American Legion Post 1644, East St., Riverside, Mechanicville for a reception.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Rose Allen Bull.
