After retirement, Joyce became a gifted quilter, sharing her work with family and friends. She also enjoyed calligraphy and was fond of bird watching, especially those bluebird families! In addition to raising her sons, she especially enjoyed looking after her cherished granddaughter Kimberly.

Sadly predeceased by her son Jeffrey A.
