WATERFORD - Marie K. DePaul, 83, of Birch Glen Drive, died Wednesday morning, January 3rd at her home, with her loving and faithful family at her side.
Born in Mechanicville, July 26, 1934, the daughter of the late Patrick and Katherine Terrone DePaul and Alice Olin DePaul, Marie was a graduate of Mechanicville High School’s Class of 1952.
Marie had a successful career as an executive secretary, something she excelled at. She worked forty plus years for Behr Manning, which was purchased by Nashua Tape Co, which was then purchased by the Norton Co. A lifelong member of the Assumption-St Paul Parish, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and also golfing in her Norton Company’s Golf League. A second mother to her sisters, nieces and nephews, she was a loyal confidant who always stood by her family.
Sadly, she was predeceased by her twin sister Anne E. DeCelle in 2009.
Survivors include her devoted sister Patrice Toombs of Watervliet, niece Laurie and husband Dana Babin, nephew William P. and wife Karen DeCelle, nephews David Toombs and Mark and wife Christina Toombs, great nieces and nephews Adam (Erin) Stover, Dana (Scott) Giles, Susan DeCelle, Julie (Brian) Dumeer and Kimberly DeCelle, great great nephew Holden Dumeer, cousin Phyllis Verdile and her children, Michael Verdile (deceased) Kathleen (Mike) Chevier and Ralph (Minette) Verdile as well as many additional cousins and lifelong friends.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
