Obituary for Susan A. Maloney (Costanzo)

MECHANICVILLE - Susan A. Maloney, 74, of Raylinsky Lane, died Monday at Saratoga Hospital, after being stricken at home.
Born in Troy, April 18, 1943, daughter of the late Ralph and Rose Taglione Costanzo, she attended both Mechanicville and Shenendehowa High Schools, graduating from Shenendehowa in 1961.
A homemaker, Susan had worked for the NYS Tax Dept, until she started raising her children. Sue enjoyed life with her husband, children and spending quality time with her adored granddaughters. Sue was a former member of the Catholic Daughters, enjoyed playing bocce ball, baking, cooking, knitting and sewing, and was sharp card player.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, J. Michael Maloney, two sons James (Susan) Maloney and Jack Maloney and daughter Kerry A. Maloney, granddaughters Erin Lynn and Megan Elizabeth Maloney. Also brothers Salvadore (Helen) Costanzo of Clifton Park and Ralph (Majiel) Costanzo of Michigan, along with nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, Sue was predeceased by her sister Phyllis Martinelli and in-laws Maurice “Moe” and Sheila Maloney.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Susan Costanzo Maloney.
