A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born May 18, 1927, son of the late Dominick and Mary LaVigna Luciano, soon after High School, Vince enlisted in the US Navy. After his military discharge, Vince worked at the former National Cash Register in his hometown. He later worked in the maintenance dept. for many years at G.E.’s Kesselring site in West Milton.

A member of many local clubs, the Italian Fraternal Society, Peters-Purcell ITAM Post, Mechanicville Athletic Club, he enjoyed playing bocce ball.
A communicant and former usher of Assumption-St. Paul Church, and the Church’s Holy Name Society, Vince enjoyed all sports, and always would root against the team that his family and friends wanted to win. He loved to disagree with all, about anything.
